The Black Kuhli Loach is a slender, eel‑like freshwater fish with a smooth, deep black to dark brown body and subtle, elusive movements along the tank bottom. Peaceful and mostly active at dawn or night, it’s a fascinating scavenger that adds life and character to planted or community tanks.

Temperament: Very peaceful, bottom‑dwelling, and somewhat shy during the day. Best kept in groups of 5 or more to encourage natural behavior and confidence. Provide plenty of hiding spots with plants, driftwood, and caves.
Diet: Omnivorous scavenger. Accepts sinking pellets or wafers, frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp, and small live foods. They’ll also pick at detritus and leftovers on the substrate
