The Koi Swordtail is a colorful and active freshwater livebearer known for its attractive patterning and distinctive sword-like extension on the male’s lower tail fin. Its peaceful nature and active swimming make it a great addition to community aquariums. Koi Swordtails thrive in well-maintained aquariums with plenty of swimming space and stable water conditions.

Temperament: Peaceful and active. Generally compatible with other peaceful community fish. Males may occasionally chase females or display mild territorial behavior, so providing plenty of swimming space and maintaining an appropriate male-to-female ratio is recommended.
Diet: Omnivorous. Feed a high-quality flake or pellet food supplemented with algae-based foods and occasional frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia.
