The Norman’s Lampeye is a tiny, peaceful schooling fish admired for its bright, iridescent “lampeye” spots — reflective scales near the eyes that catch the light and create a glowing effect. Its subtle silver body and gentle movements make it an attractive addition to planted tanks, especially when kept in groups.

Temperament: Peaceful and best kept with other calm community fish. Males can be territorial toward each other, so it’s best to keep one male with several females or a peaceful community group. Avoid fin‑nippers or overly boisterous tank mates.
Diet: Omnivorous. Accepts high‑quality flakes, small pellets, and frozen/live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. A varied diet enhances health and vibrant coloration.
