Honeycomb Bushynose
The Honeycomb Bushynose Pleco is a small, peaceful catfish known for its distinctive honeycomb-like pattern across the body and fins, giving it a textured, almost sculpted appearance. It’s an active algae grazer that spends much of its time attached to driftwood and surfaces, helping keep the aquarium clean. While primarily nocturnal, it will occasionally venture out during the day, especially in well-planted tanks with hiding spots. Its calm temperament makes it an excellent addition to community aquariums, and it thrives in setups that provide plenty of driftwood, smooth rocks, and moderate water flow.

Temperament: Peaceful and shy bottom-dweller. Best kept singly or in small groups in community tanks with other non-aggressive fish. Appreciates plenty of hiding spots such as driftwood, caves, and plants. Most active at night, but will occasionally explore during the day in well-planted aquariums.
Diet: Omnivorous with a focus on algae and wood fiber. Requires driftwood in the tank to aid digestion. Accepts sinking wafers, algae wafers, blanched vegetables like zucchini or cucumber, and occasional frozen foods such as bloodworms or brine shrimp.
