Size: Up to 2.5–3 inches
Temperature: 68–75 °F (tolerates cooler water better than many tropical fish)

Temperament: Very peaceful and social bottom-dweller. Should be kept in groups of 6 or more for best behavior and reduced stress. Ideal for community aquariums with other calm, non-aggressive fish. Appreciates soft substrate and areas to explore.
Diet: Omnivorous – feeds on sinking pellets or wafers, supplemented with frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Will also scavenge leftover food but should be fed directly to ensure proper nutrition.
