Strawberry Rasbora:

The Strawberry Rasbora, also known as Boraras naevus, is a tiny, delicate freshwater fish valued for its subtle patterning and calm presence. Native to slow, plant-filled waters in Southeast Asia, it thrives in peaceful, well-planted aquariums and is best kept in groups where its natural schooling behavior can be appreciated.

Care Guide: Strawberry Rasbora (Boraras naevus)

Size: Up to 0.8 inches (2 cm)

Temperature: 72–79 °F (22–26 °C)

pH: 5.5–7.0 (slightly acidic to neutral)

Temperament: Extremely peaceful and somewhat shy; best kept in groups of 8 or more. Ideal for nano and planted aquariums with dense plant cover. Avoid larger or aggressive tankmates, as they can easily be outcompeted or stressed.

Diet: Omnivorous – does best on high-quality micro pellets or crushed flakes, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as baby brine shrimp, daphnia, and microworms. A varied diet helps maintain optimal condition and brings out their best natural appearance.
