Blue Gourami | Live Fish

Blue Gouramis are hardy, adaptable freshwater fish known for their soft blue to silver coloration and subtle marbling. They are larger and more robust than dwarf varieties, with a calm but sometimes semi-aggressive temperament, especially as they mature. These fish do best in spacious, well-planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots and gentle tank mates that can hold their own.

Temperament: Semi-aggressive. Generally peaceful when young but can become territorial with age, especially toward other gouramis or similar-shaped fish. Best kept with moderately sized, non-aggressive tank mates.
Diet: Omnivorous – Blue Gouramis accept high-quality flakes or pellets as a staple diet. Supplement with frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. They may also graze on plant matter and benefit from occasional vegetable supplements like blanched spinach or zucchini.
