The Electric Blue Johanni Cichlid is a lively, eye-catching freshwater fish known for its bold personality and active nature. Native to Lake Malawi, it adds a cool, striking shimmer to aquariums while thriving in rocky setups with plenty of hiding spots.

Temperament: Semi-aggressive and territorial, especially males. Best kept in species-only tanks or with other Lake Malawi cichlids of similar size and temperament. Provide plenty of rockwork and caves to establish territories and reduce aggression.

Diet: Omnivorous with a strong herbivorous preference. Feed high-quality cichlid flakes or pellets formulated for African cichlids. Supplement with spirulina-based foods and occasional treats like brine shrimp or mysis shrimp. Avoid excessive high-protein foods to prevent digestive issues.
