We recommend housing a single axolotl in a tank of at least 20 gallons, with an additional 10 gallons for each additional axolotl to reduce the risk of nipping.

Our little guy has been a bit shy, but has been eating well since the first day we brought him home. He takes the worms from us when we place it in front of his face and has also started to slowly ambush them when it's placed elsewhere around the tank! Also love the way he glows under the blue lights!
