Description:
The Odessa Barb is a colorful and energetic freshwater fish prized for the vibrant red stripe displayed by mature males. Active and hardy, they are excellent schooling fish that add constant movement and color to community aquariums when kept in groups.

Temperament: Active and semi-peaceful. Best kept in schools of 6 or more to reduce fin-nipping and encourage natural schooling behavior. Compatible with other active, similarly sized community fish.
Diet: Omnivorous. Accepts high-quality flakes, micro pellets, and granules. Supplement with frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, bloodworms, and other small protein-rich foods for optimal health and coloration.
