Star Sapphire Phenochilus Cichlids are admired for their bold presence and active swimming behavior. They thrive in spacious aquariums with rockwork and open swimming areas. While generally manageable, they can be territorial, especially as they mature, and are best kept with other similarly sized African cichlids.
